5.5 stars. I absolutely loved it! Witty, charming, funny, and unique. A very enjoyable read. I finished it in one day and I look forward to reading Second Grave on the Left as soon as I can get my hands on a copy.
Really more like 3.5 stars. I liked the Southern Gothic setting and the character development. I do agree with others that it could have been shorter in length and the story a little less drawn out. Overall I enjoyed the read but it felt less than completely satisfying, like an expected twist in the story ended up not happening.
